Certainly one with some domestication in it's blood.

This turkey appears to be a smoky-gray phase which I believe is considered a genitic defect, simular to an albino. I've never saw a long beard but have saw a couple of jakes and a few hens. I bow hunted a hen like this all season.:)

Now I can see it, I think it would be a great trophy. Something different.

This bird was at the convention. It was even more beautiful in person.
They called it the grey ghost. I have seen 1 bird in the wild with this coloration. It was a hen in Cumberland Co.

It looks a lot like the one in my chicken lot :) but I have read about the genetic color variations. I have never seen the white/smoke phase, but I did see a red one two years ago while bowhunting deer. It was with 3 other regular colored gobblers.

I have seen a couple like that at FT. Campbell. You are allowed to shoot them with what ever weopon you are hunting with. I couldn't get a shot either time.

They are everywhere out there and they want rid of them if anyone wants to try for one.
