Mark Drury, nice guy!

While at the convention my goals were to meet Michael Waddel, and Mark Drury. I met both of those and many more. Mark Drury was probably one of the nicest Pros I've met. While talking with him he continually commented on how beautiful my daughters eyes were and how she reminded him of his daughter. He then asked her if he gave her a video would she watch it. Ofcourse she shook her head yes so he wlked over and grabbed a new turkey hunting video off the shelf and handed it to her. I got him to autograph the cover for her. That made her (mine too) day! We stopped by later and met Terry and they both had to start talking about her eyes again. 2 Real class acts! While in the realtree booth getting their signatures and picking up a hat, my daughtet asked to have them sign here "Mossyoak" shirt, I jokingly said that I doubt they wanted to sign a mossyoak shirt. Waddel laughed and said "Sure, we'll sign anything, and then sell her a "Realtree" shirt!" We all got a big laugh out of that.

I sat through Mark's Whitetail deer seminar at the show and it was pretty good. He was a class act. I really enjoyed Michael Waddels seminar, we were rolling on the floor. He could be on the blue collar comedy tour...

Mapman and I were laughing after we ran into you, we've had some near misses in the past. It was good to see you and your little girl. It's great to get her involved in events like that. It won't be long and I'm sure I'll have my little one out there.

Not a chance! I did by a hat like Waddel was wearing. It's the tattered up "Will hunt for food" hat that he's always wearing. Had all the guys sign it. I'm stick on mossyoak, just looks better to me! The realtree guys are more entertaining though!

I've had the opportunity to know Mark Drury for some time now. I met him when he was first getting started--he's the same great guy today he was then. It's great to see nice guys get the success they bust their tails to earn. We are really fortunate in the outdoor world to have so many of them.

Yeah my girlfriend really enjoyed meeting Michael Waddel also. Even had me take her picture with him. I think he has been mentioned everyday sence. I guess I would be doing the same had it been ashley judd in a nice uk hockey jersey though.

You're right about Mark. 3 years ago at the National AMO show I stopped by their booth and only Terry was there. An hour later they found me and Terry had told Mark that a young boy stopped by and wanted to see him and him and Terry went all over those 3 huge inter-connected buildings to find me so I could meet him. They are really awesome. Michael Waddell and David Blanton are both cool too. I talked turkey hunting with Michael forever after he saw my turkey spur necklace. I felt like king of the world.

I am with you skin_dog! I sat next to Mark and ate lunch, he was as nice a guy as you would ever want to meet. We stopped by and talked with him later too, and he was extremely nice.
