Gander Mtn has a service they offer here,... I haven't tried it, but I believe it's about $150 or better. There is also a place in Cadiz (it was posted here last year.)

I'm in the boat your in, I tried the Tape thing,..Well it looked OK, till it started coming off. Then it was a nightmare to get all of the residue off.

I found this just last night, I may try it out.

www.camoent.com I don't know if it's dip or not but the flyer I picked up at the NWTF show says for $20.00 plus and equal donation to NWTF gets it done. Phone number is 1-800-843-2266 I'm gonna check it out for sure when I get the chance

I miss read the ad, it says $20.00 off so you'll have to check the site for the pricing.

the camoent.com is a dip process similar to factory applied camo $195+ shipping for shotgun.

camoextreme.com is a tape kit (camo clad) $25+ ship. This type is easy to apply I have done a couple of guns. Just clean them good with rubbing alchol,
the tape stays on very well I had a 20ga. pump that I just traded, the tape was on it for 3 yrs and did not lift even on corners or edges.
And BigRedExpress said that the tape came off pretty easy.

Runs around $150, many patterns to choose from. He did all the camo dip for Knight and Hale.

I've seen several of the guns he's done and they all looked outstanding.

I work for gander mountain. They offer the service, but it is not done there, the guns are sent to another gander mtn. store that does the dipping. The cost is around 175. There are tons of patterns available including hardwoods green HD and Natural Gear, that's right NATGEAR. If you are looking to have it done for this turkey season you should probably start looking seriously soon.

I ordered from this website today http://www.camoextreme.com/Gun%20Accessories.htm in Mossy Oak Obbsession. I hope it's like the HS product I saw demonstrated the other day, it looked awesome but only available in Realtree.

I'll post my results.

What's the difference between that and a Camoclad kit except $5? Looks like the same kind of thing to me.

If anyone has pics they can post of their gun after it has been dipped please post them. I would like to see what it looks like before I would consider doing it. I have had two gun sleeves in the past 5 years, they are much cheaper, but a pain in the a$$.

Walk up to any gun counter in the U.S. that has a camo gun sitting behind it from the factory.... it will be identical.

Same process, same film from same manufacturers. Some of these guys even do the camo dipping for some products for the factory before they are sold. The guy in Cadiz used to do all the camo stuff for Knight and Hale.
