Past LKS President Jim Thompson passes away

Jim was a fine, fine human being. I feel really privileged to have had the opportunity to know him and work with him. It was amazing to see him keep working for the LKS when his health was really failing. There was no quit in him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Rollie Beers and me went down today. Jim left a wonderful family and many friends behind. The priest that spoke today said something that really stuck with me, "The world was a different place 30 years ago; I hope Jim received the Thank You for the service to his country he surely deserved and at this time I too want to Thank You Jim for your service".

Thank You Jim Thompson for all you have done for all, you will be missed.
