I was looking at getting one, and I think that is the one I am leaning towards. I think there is a couple guys on here that have it, and like it. I know some of those digitals don't work very good, but that one seems to get the job done.

I think I've seen them at Gander for something in the high $300's. I think like $370 or something like that? Not positive. Would be a little more expensive to start with, but wouldn't have to waste money on developing film that doesn't have good pictures on it.

How difficult is the Cuddy to use ?

How do you view the pics ? Do you have to bring the whole camera to the computer or is there a card ?

I tried the Trail Spy and that was a horror. I couldn't even figure out how to turn it on. Needless to say I sent that one wright back ..

Natchez or Mid South had the Cuddeback for just around $330.00. Or look on Ebay some are Buy it Now for just over $300.00. But you can build one with a Sony 3.2 or 4.1 MP camera for less than $300.00. Depending on what you have to pay for the camera. Go to jessie's outdoors web site or Hags House. They both have great forums on camera building and are very informative sites. My brother-in-law has 2 Cuddebacks & I have a Leaf River & I am fixing to build a couple. Both are good cameras but I would give the edge to the Cuddeback due to shutter wakeup time. Picture quality & ease of use is a toss up Video goes to the Leaf River. Battery use is about the same but you need more batteries with the Leaf River.

Is the Cuddeback the one that you can view the pictures right in the field with a special attachment? And then you can delete ones right at that time too?
