Put new batteries in it. If it still won't work, take it to a dark room and open the door and push the rewind button. If it still won't work, you can manually pull the film out & rewind it.

Mine rarely rewinds. Just put it in test mode and push the rewind button.
Interesting. I have not had any problems with mine. I just wonder if this is something to watch for as it gets some age on it?

mine have not reliable rewound since I've bought them. I have had 99 triggers on several occasions but still had to rewind the film.

if you are going to open the back make sure you are in a TOTALLY dark room ...otherwise you could ruin your film. You might even take it to the lab and let them do it for you.

I've got 2, one is going on 3 y/o, the other is going on 2 y/o. I have never had amjor problems. The problems I have had are probably user error(Got 2 entire rolls of nothing once).
I had the same problem until I realized that I didn't load the film correctly. Not once could I blame the camera....only the user.

Although it wasn't with a 35 mm stealth cam (I've got a stealth cam but it's digital and yes, it also sucks), I've had similar film-rewinding problems with my 35mm trail cams. The one thing I've learned is to use NOTHING but KODAK film. I've had two separate and different manufacturers both tell me that FUJI film will stick in the camera and burn out the rewind motor. The rewind problems were endless for me, and I had to replace one camera. I was using FUJI and/or Walgreen's film to reduce costs. The minute I started using Kodak film, all of my rewind problems disappeared. Now, I just wait for a good film sale at Walgreen's or Walmart, and I'll buy 20 rolls or 400 speed Kodak film.

We run Stealth cams and have ZERO problems unless we use crap batteries or FUJI film.
Use Kodak film & good quality batteries and it should perform fine. The three of ours do.
