My 2004 8pt buck

Took this buck Saturday morning about 10:45. He wasn't chasing a doe but appeared to be strolling around for one. I passed up three other bucks before taking this one. I know seeing six deer and four of them being bucks isn't a lot fo deer but for where I hunt in eastern Kentucky that is a lot. Best day of hunting I have ever had.

I live in Breathitt Co. and that is also where I hunt(actually right behind my house) He isn't the biggest buck I have ever seen in the area but he is definitely the largest I have ever taken. Six deer is serveral deer especially when you can go for weeks at a time without seeing a single doe.
