Heartwood is holding a meeting at the Perkins Center in Morehead tonight at 6pm, to convince the sportsmen that closing the DBNF is the right thing to do. We need every sportmen available to attend this meeting. We need to stop this group tonight. I hope to see everyone there.

Just returned from Morehead, Heartwood had a public meeting tonight and held recruitment meeting. I want to thank them for paying and hosting such a meeting, I don't believe that reached their goal. Seemed all that attended was foresters, loggers and hunters. I don't think they signed up any new members. What was very evident was they will continue to try stopping the reclaimation of the damaged timber in the DBNF. Thanks to Grouseguy for his speech, he did a great job in stating the habitat need.
