Quota Hunts

I was drawn for the Taylorsville quota hunt, but that is all I know. This is the first time that I've been drawn and need some help. Will the KDFWR be sending me information? I got some info from their website, but I don't know if we need to check in/out, where/how to get quota tags, if we will be assigned to a certain area, etc.

Please help; I'm going in blind!

KDFWR won't send you anything. You do have to check in and out at the check station. You can hunt anywhere you want though. They have maps of the area at the check station. You can get quota tags where ever you got your deer tags at, just ask for them. Hope this helps you a little, if you need more info reply to this post again. Good luck!

They will if you request it. I do. You have to call them. They sent me an airial map of lake CUMB. St. Park when I was drawn last year.

This is my first year as well. You have to go up there tommorow and sign in anytime between 12 and 8pm.My party is going up there around 4 and sign in and look around a little bit. Good luck to you.
