The Last Couple Of Seasons I've Been Hunting Milo Fields In The Early Season. To Say The Least, I've Seen A Ridiculous Number Of Deer In The Fields In Late September And Early October. Unfortunately, I Haven't Had A Chance To Visit Those Areas Around Late October And Early November. I Was Wondering If Anyone Knew Whether Deer Continued To Use Milo As A Food Source This Time Of Year???

I think once they eat the tops off the milo they are done with it, but I could be mistaken. I planted some milo on the powerline behind my house this year and before it came up good Ky. utilities cut the powerline. Thanks ky. Utilities.

We've got milo on one of our farms that the deer use as bedding VERY heavily. I've always heard that milo actually becomes toxic for a period of time before it fully matures, so I'm not so sure about them using as a food source.
