Just received some pictures from my brother in Trigg county of some deer he got on his trail cam. No big bucks but that doesn't matter. I haven't had the opportunity to deer hunt for 10 years now because of my commitment to Uncle Sam and being stationed overseas. Through him and now this forum I can at least deer hunt vicariously. The last oppourtunity I had to hunt with him was the spring turkey season in 2001. I called in 2 jakes for him his first day out and he was hooked on spring gobbler season. I got to goose/duck hunt in January 2003 in Ballard Co. by going there on the weekdays and putting my name in the hat for the standbys. Met two fellows that I hunted with a couple of times there from around Kevil. Great guys, taught me a lot about duck/goose hunnting(first season to try it) and helped me bag my first duck. What a blast that was!!!!!!!! A mallard drake and then a woody. Still have the woody in my mom's freezer to have mounted eventually. Well enough day dreaming for now. You guys keep the stories and pics coming on the board. Thanks
