The committee meeting went well. Items going before the commission in Dec. are as follows.

1. Regs. for bow fishing, spearing and snagging below Ky. Dam. Locates, techniques and type of fish.

2. Methods of taking of Paddlefish and creel limits.

3. Stop snagging on Cave Run.

4. Catfish: methods and limits

5. Frog Season: starting dates

6. State Hatcheries: maintenance, new structures.

7. Commerical Harvast: gill netting private lakes with a permit.

8. Catfish: pay lakes must identify what body of water their fish came from. (For safety reason)

9. Salato Center: Establish vistitor centers in other areas of Ky.

10. Hunters for the Hungry: Address giving an Elk, Deer, and Turkey tag for auction next year for a funraiser.

11. Redistricting C.O.: means, area, and structure of pay.

12. Elk: look at increasing the number of elk taken to 100.

13. Bear: ?

14. WMA's: Starfire, refund permit money to those that purchased permits. Address means of charging for permits on all WMA's.

15. Turkey Season: Look at opening season on Saturday and what Saturday as well as lenthing season.

16. Ban on ingerently dangerous animals.

17. Report on Marketing Goals for FWR.

18. Hunting seasons around State-owned Lakes. (buffer zones)

19. Habitat Management Report: Work on WMA's and Private land.


I feel sure, I left out some issues, maybe Kent or Bob Fraley can help with those. This next meeting should be interesting, to say the least.
