Great hunt today!

Wow what a morning! We hunted a big pond in the Bluegrass and wore ‘em out. We got a 4 man limit of greenheads and black ducks for 20 total. We had several singles, pairs and small groups of pintails work us, some landing. We also had a few single teal splash in the dekes while we were working flocks of mallards, so they were safe. One guy killed a greenhead with 2 legbands, one being a $100 reward band. Saw lots of ducks, and many had bright orange legs. I just hate that we will probably be locked up in a few days.

Tim, uh, it sounds like for the sake of the rest of us you need to lock up. Have you saved anything for the rest of us KY boys? Quit killen'um and send them our way! Just kidden sounds like an awesome morning. Are these guided hunts, I might have to look into that if it don't get any better around here. Good job!!![;)]

Mark, I imagine these hunts will be few and far between! No, they are not guided. I have quit that. I want to have fun for a change and kill some birds without all the stress.
